The Symmons TA-10 (often listed as TA-10-RP) is a genuine pressure-balancing flow control spindle assembly designed specifically for Symmons Temptrol series shower and tub valves. It serves as the “heart” of the valve, automatically adjusting to balance hot and cold water pressure to prevent sudden temperature spikes (anti-scald protection).
