The RPG05-1124 is a pressure balance cartridge, a crucial internal component that balances the hot and cold water pressure to maintain a consistent water temperature, thus providing a scald guard function.
It is a direct replacement part for Speakman Sentinel Mark II and Echo shower valves.
It is designed for use with a rotate-handle activation type for single-handle faucets.
